Chapter 2 slows down and answers the big question from chapter 1: what happened to Chihiro and his father. Shiba interrogates the rescued man, the chapter shows a person turned into a tree, and then it takes us back to that day.
Three sorcerers, a destroyed workshop, Kunishige dead – and six enchanted blades stolen. The blades that ended the war.
And then the narration drops the line that gives this channel its name: the katana Chihiro wields now is the seventh one.
