Everyone kept calling Kagurabachi the next big shonen, so this channel starts at the very beginning. Chapter 1 opens in a forge: Chihiro and his father Kunishige, a famous swordsmith, a man in a hat who grows a tree out of a person, and a creed about what a blade is for.
Then the time skip. Chihiro is older, with a black coat, a sword on his back and a scar across his face – and he walks into the Korogumi headquarters alone.
He whispers one word, Enten, water drips from the blade, and the goldfish come out. The fight that follows is the reason this manga took off.
