Chapter 4 picks up in the wrecked restaurant front: the vest guy with his Daruma bombs against Chihiro and Enten. Black cuts Char free, Shiba teleports her to safety, and in the car we finally get the rules: spirit energy is life force, every human has it, and an enchanted blade amplifies it into something no sorcerer can muster alone.
Then the fight. Darumas everywhere, a trap around Chihiro's waist – and one quiet word: Red. The red goldfish swallows the explosion and sends it straight back at the man who threw it.
The chapter closes with Chihiro's three questions, a memory of one specific box from his father's cellar, and a name: Cloud Gouger.
